About Heritage Lilydale
Heritage Lilydale comes under the umbrella of Lilydale Arts and Heritage Inc, a not-for-profit community association aiming to promote the arts and history in the Lilydale district. Prior to this, Heritage Lilydale was a subcommittee of the Lilydale District Progress Association Inc. The whole enterprise began in March 2014.
Purpose:
- Foster a greater appreciation of Lilydale's history, buildings and environment.
- Increase community access to information and items representing Lilydale's history and its people.
- Promote research into and publication of information about our heritage and stories of the region.
- Encourage the conservation of historical items and places.

This is held from 9 am - 12.30 pm every second Thursday at the Lilydale District School Community Learning Centre. Check the website for updates.
It is an informal session, and members bring along information and research and we work on a range of things. We have the use of the computers in the Online Access Centre. Sometimes we head out to visit something of interest.
